wanted to blog about my visit to The Coastal Settlements, but i think that can wait haha. more excited to post my frankfurt pics!

first time to this place, finally. a pity that i wasnt scheduled to go to New York from Frankfurt! nonetheless, Frankfurt's a boring place i heard. and it really lived up to its name haha. it didnt help that i was there over the weekends. it was like a ghost town. the roads on the sunday morning were empty. we had lunch at quite a traditional pizza place and walked arnd town. shall let the pics do more of the talking:

touched down and saw this slim and full-of-love plane!

as usual, we visited the usual food joint. this pizza place uses the traditional wood fire oven to bake their pizzas! they make it on the spot in front of us! funny uncle gladly posed for us lol!

and then skillfully flip it on the plate right in front of our eyes!

al fresco dining w the girls! wished i could go NY w you Wiyah!!

spaghetti frutti di mare. the portion was so big but it was so so only. nth beats having al dente pastas from italano.

parma ham + rocket salad pizza!

spinach salad w mushroom & mushroom sauce

the atas street of frankfurt. where all the big boutiques line the street.

chanced upon this gummy shop! i was happy like a kid!! :D

 mega-mmy bear!!

 jar of hearts

 i bought a pack of cranberry-gummy bears!

such shops never fail to make me so happy :)

the major subway interchange station in frankfurt. like our city hall, but maybe ten times bigger

we saw this indie crepe shop along the way to supermarket.

not sure if the girl was just working there or she was the lady-boss. but her bf was so sweet to just stay arnd and accompany her while she worked!

will never go wrong with banana nutella :)

such easy yet nice presentation of the yum on a big plate!

 menu..

secret ambition to open such cafes in spore!! :)

loots of the day. all from the supermarket, except the cranberry gummy bears. yes, each of us grabbed the whole carton of giottos back!! 6 x pack of 36 giottos! :P

view from my room at 32storey

lunch on the second day. this is the shit man!! my fav parma ham+rock melon. damn good combi!

my 4cheese pizza

go frankfurt must eat frankfurters.

meet up with YEON!!! my korean friend i knew from exchange. she's flying with Lufthansa now. she met me right after her flight, still in her uniform!!

gossiped bout all the stories at work. not many ppl can understand the agony we go through!!

that's all for my adventures in frankfurt. really wish i could go NY soon! haha.

a hiatus way too long

omg it's really been so long since i visited this channel. chanced upon some nice instagram profiles and got inspired to follow nice blogs again.
the past year zoomed past and was a bleahh. been literally zooming here and there around the world aimlessly that now i feel so ashamed of myself. it's getting comfortable now, but i sincerely know that i shouldnt let myself be contented with what i have. the thrill of traveling is also slowly wearing off, but the feeling of being overseas and away from reality does bring me back. haha ironic but true. my batchmates and i all know that we cannot settle for this comfort zone. all the best to me in search for my next direction! :)
As we grow older, we get more caught up in life and work that we start losing friends. circle of friends get smaller. i also choose to believe that it might be due to the state of mind? if we're constantly keeping ourselves occupied and thinking of something, i guess we won't feel that bad? ive seen so many lone travelers, heading to different destinations for different agendas. deep down inside, i've always had a burning question. what keeps them going? how bout old folks who've lost their partners due to old age? their courage to face the world alone is really commendable.
alright. enough of such ramblings. some pictures to end this post on a lighter note!
happy one year baby! :)
been wanting a balenciaga bag, and here it is finally!! :) love the colour to bits.

we've taken ice cream binging to a higher level!! fr ice cream hangouts in ice cream chefs to gelato in an atas cafe in MILANO! :)
and an awesome view from a lake behind the Castle Sforzesco in milan. was so surreal cuz we chanced upon this place behind the castle. walked through an amusement park and found this lake and park. almost like walking out of a very random dream :)
